Playa Larga or Platja Llarga with its wonderful maritime promenade which runs the whole length of this magnificent beach of Salou, is 600 meters long and 35 meters wide. Normally the level of occupancy of the beach Platja Llarga is average.

Playa Larga, one of the wildest and most beautiful beaches of the Costa Dorada, lies between Salou and Casa Oda. The beach is part of the Lumine Mediterránea Beach and Golf Club but is freely accessible. The Camino de Ronda connects the 600 meter long beach with Cabo de Salou and Salou. It is a beautiful pedestrian promenade where on Sunday Catalans and Spaniards like to stroll. The planted palm trees and the clubhouse of the golf course with the Lumine Restaurant give this bay a unique cachet.

The long sandy beach gradually turns into low-lying rock formations in the north, with a few smaller, more intimate beaches. Take your chilled Priorat Celler Cal Pla Blanco and taste the original Mediterranean life here at nightfall. Then the beach becomes calm, the salty air and the aroma of this wine, harvested in a traditional and organic way, enrapture you, and recall the original qualities of this unique terroir.

On the southern side, a long staircase leads you to La Punta Chata, from where you have a magnificent view of Playa Larga and Cabo de Salou.

 
   
     
   

Cala Penya Tallada

Here you will find the peace of nature in the mid-season, without too many people around you. But during the high season, and especially in August, this small beach is also very busy.
The small bay is 120 meters long and 12 meters wide, surrounded by large agaves and pine trees. The upright rock formations have given the bay its name, Cala Penya Tallada, which means something like 'bay of the split rock'. Next to this sandy beach is a smaller and more intimate srand of boulders, Les Mabres. It is difficult to access so that you are almost always alone.
Beyond the rocky point La Punta Prima there are two beautiful sandy beaches, Cala Font and Cala Vinya. Because of the nearby hotels it is busier.
